Not as much room or as well organized as I had hoped but the bow fits and does a great job of protecting it.

Great value for what you get. There are certainly tougher cases out there, but this has a great price point. Plus it doesn't weigh a ton like some of the bombproof cases. I like how light it is because weigh limits become a factor. In the past I've used the Plano cases. No real complains on those. This is just more robust in structure and refined in hardware. As my bows get more expensive, so do my cases. I hold a Mathews Helim in it today. I like the hard foam and furry carpet inside. The plastic is decent. Not super thick like a pelican case, more like a Thule car top case. It has some flex. It has 4 latches, so it will stay shut in case one fails. Nice interlocking metal rim, which ads to the integrity of the design. I think it has locks, but don't actually remember since I never use them. When traveling I will throw a strap around it just for good measure.Holds....oh....8-10 arrows well. I think it can hold more, but then the fletchings start to touch. This is well padded, but my old plano case had straps to keep the bow in place. This doesn't have straps and I feel it should. No reason to let a bow flop around in there. With my original detachable quiver (Bohning) I could keep my quiver on it (not with arrows in it though). Then I switched to a Mathews two piece quiver that was permanently attached to bow. That fit great. Then last year I switched to a Tight Spot and now I have to take the quiver off. Not ideal, but I wrap in in a t-shirt or cloth and it's fine. It fits, quiver just needs to sit more centered.I have a 4 inch Axiom stabilizer and it fits in the case. So I don't need to take it off the bow. I added a quick disconnect to the stabilizer because in really open terrain I will hunt with a 10 inch stabilizer. So I wanted to easily switch back and forth when target shooting. With the disconnect the 4 inch stabilizer still fits, but it's a little too snug for my comfort. So I still take it off. It just barely fits. I get a little worried about no wiggle room at that point if the case did take an impact.I have taken 8 plane rides with this case. I generally fill it with my hunting clothes around the bow. Pack it up solid. I then place the entire case in a large duffle bag I bought at REI. This allows me to throw big items like a heavy jacket, boots and other clothes in the duffle. It adds a little extra cushion. You would be amazed how much you can bring with that setup before you hit the weight limit. Depending on where I'm hunting I might not need to bring another bag at all. I've literally checked a second bag, which was an empty cooler! Of those 8 flights, only once was there damage. The last time I hunted American airlines clearly slammed it on a corner really hard. The corner cracked (3 inches) and a 2 inch sliver came off because it shattered. Very odd damage, not like it was dropped, but hit something. I bet the baggage guy swung the bag toward a conveyer belt or something, and hit the corner of the metal frame of the belt as he swung it. It has a very clear impact spot of something pointed. Thankfully the corners are well padded with hard foam, so there was no damage to the bow at all. It still shot accurately. I complained to American and they gave me a voucher for $100. That was the best I could do. Not bad, since I'll continue to use this case for future flights and only paid $125 for it. If my bow was brand new, I might be worried, but not it's getting up there in age. Plus, at all these hunts I had other guys meeting me who brought extra bows. So it's not like my hunt would be over if it did get damaged. I might think twice if it was a new bow and I was dropping $5k on a guided hunt with no backup bows available. At that point I would probably bring a second bow anyway.Hope that helps. I would recommend it for most usage.

This is a great case to protect your bow. This way better then the cheap plastic tackle box case. Why would you trust putting your $500-$1000 bow in something cheap. Very nice padding and velvet inside to protect your bow and cams from getting jarred around. It can fit in the case with your quiver attached and it has a spot for extra arrows. It comes with locks on the latches so you can secure your bow. Good quality case, don't hesitate to buy this case for your bow. This is the cheapest price I found online, amazon has the best price for this. Stop looking and buy it here. This fit my 2013 PSE Brute X, check your bow size axle to axle and width to see if it fits. SKB does make an XL version as well as other versions.Pros: good quality, good latches, good padding, plush velvet material, rugged protection.Cons: none found.

I selected this case after reading the reviews on how the case fit the Z7 like a glove... and all those reviews are right on point. There are some reviews that claim that you can case your bow with a loaded quiver and that is something I was interested in since I have a 2 piece quiver that is a pain in the rear to take off and put on frequently. However, there are some caveats.-The case has a nice furry lower potion to set the bow in... and the bow fits in there nice and snug. Almost too snug if you ask me, but as with all new things, it will mold itself in no time to the bow's shape. I do not see that as an issue at all.-There are four latches and two of them lock. With the case latched it stays closed and the halves to not wiggle... and that is a problem I have experienced with other bow/rifle/gun cases. Now let talk about the quiver... like most people I have a stabilizer on my bow. It is 4" long and the bow bits inside the case with it installed with no problems. However, the bow sit in the case a little off center and the quiver hits the pad on the lid preventing it from closing. Not good and not what I was expecting. You have two choices... Remove the quiver or remove the stabilizer... if you want to close the lid that is.Right now I took off the stabilizer and put it inside a sock to prevent it from scratching things up when I move the case around. There is a chance that I may be able to try to mold some of the padding to give me enough space to have everything attached to the bow since it is only off by a tiny bit... I know the picture on Amazon shows the bow with the quiver and stabilizer inside the case but keep in mind that the picture also has the case open ;)There is also no place to strap down anything inside the case. While it is not that big of a deal, it would be nice to have someplace to put the release in the case with out it being loose in there. For the time being, it is also in the same sock as the stabilizer.Overall this is a great solid case and well worth the money and I have no doubt it will do an excellent job protecting the large investment I am storing with in.EDIT: Sure enough, with a little molding the bow fits inside with both the quiver and stabilizer installed :)

I bought this case to fit a Mathews Z7 Extreme Tactical and it fits it great. I really like being able to leave my quiver on the bow while in the case. I like the lining and build of the case, it's snug and secure. I like it more than I did the Vanguard that I used to have. The only thing I would like to have with this case is interior pockets for small parts storage. Overall this is a great case for the money, I am very happy with it.
