I'm not a professional photographer so I don't need the most expensive monopod. This has an extra section from my previous monopod. No more leaning over to look into the viewfinder. I'm 6 feet tall and it works really well for me. Rubber cap on foot removes so you can use the spike for grass fields if you're shooting sports.

SIRUI Camera Monopod AM-MDP01, 65 inch Carbon Fiber Monopod Compact Lightweight for Travel, Max Load 22lbs/10kgThe SIRUI people call this a monopod, which to me simply means "stick." That said the stick is strong, robust, lightweight, and holds my cameras and other attachments with ease and aplomb. I use this as just stated, but also to hold compatible microphones for long reach and lights for versatility. At some $70 or so, the monopod provides excellent value for money and is an excellent addition to and investment for my events businesses. Note a fresh coupon on deck now.An STG Synergies Review!

I just received it. The size is perfect. It is light weight due to the carbon fiber. All of the leg locks work fine. It feels stable. My complaint is the foam hand grip slips. I decided to return this one and order the SIRUI P-326 model which has had many excellent reviews on Amazon and also on Youtube.

Super contente.

I have used the “SIRUI Camera Monopod AM-MDP01, 65 inch Carbon Fiber Monopod Compact Lightweight for Travel, Max Load 22lbs/10kg“ mainly for photographing high school football, but I have been very pleased with its ease of use and sturdiness. It seems to be well made, and where else are you going to find a carbon fiber shaft at this price point? It’s a great value.

It has good value for money. This monopod is also does not disappoint me.Build quality is very good, made of Carbon fiber that lightweight but strong. It has very nice and smooth finishing And it comes with smartphone clamp, carrying bag and 2.5mm allen wrench. It has 5 sections that when fully retract as short as 47.3 cm / 18.6" and when fully extended totaled 165 cm / 65". It only weight 0.41 Kg / 0.9 lbs.The twist lock mechanism is fast and reliable make it easier to setup to a certain length.Over all it is a nice little monopod that works very well for my need..

This is the perfect monopod for photographers who want to pack light and still get rock support for taking photos on the go.This is especially important when using a telephoto or zoom lens where the slightest camera shake will blur the image. I love the simplicity of the mount at the top. You can use it directly with most cameras with a 1/4" 20 mount, or use a 3/6" 16 mount to attach a traditional tripod head. The biggest surprise is how lightweight it is, because of the carbon fiber.

This is a great monopod for the price! Much smaller and lighter than I was expecting. Not a bad thing, just an observation. I have another beefier one that I will use for wildlife and sports, but this one will be great if I'm putting in a lot of miles and don't expect to need any stabilization (there's not much of a weight penalty).Super smooth and easy operation! Quick to set up and take down.Honestly, the phone holder and compass are junk (reading was way off). They could save a few dollars and not include them. Not sure why you need a compass on a monopod anyway, but I digress.
