This was great. Amazing price. Exactly as pictured and came with 2 sheets of glass to test the item. Thick glass too. Came quickly. Good buy.

I hope I never need these but it's great to have them. I like the small size and the mountable holder and they work as described. I mounted them inside the center console in both vehicles so I will always know right where they are, even if we're upside down, and they will be within easy reach.

This is something you hope you never have to use. Seems to work (they give you a small disk of test glass) and the mount works well so have them mounted in both cars alongside the driver's side window. Small and compact so they don't interfere but easy access should the need ever arise.

This really works well. We tested it on the glass sample supplied with the product and were amazed at how well it works. I am purchasing additional ones for family and friends.

This is a decent quality 2-pack of aluminum cased window break / escape tools. The glass break side is shielded and tends to have a cable-punch like mechanism where you press hard enough until the internal latch mechanism releases and it strikes to shatter the glass -- they also include a piece of glass to test it on, which surprised me. The seatbelt cutter side is just sharp blade surrounded by plastic (for safety reasons). Kit also includes mounting adapter and double-sided tape. Probably best secured in a reachable place from a tightened seatbelt (since these can lock up to secure the occupant).

I secured the breaker where I can grab it easily. Unfortunately, the breaker pops off the holder easily. It doesn't slip off, it pops off from simply closing the door. If I'm ever in a situation where I need to break the glass it'll probably be in an emergency, like an accident. I used electrical tape to solve the issue. So far, it's been secure for over a month.

Ahem, anyway, after seeing a number of characters drown from lack of one of these devices (wife: “If they had one of those do-hickies, they would have survived.”), I ordered some. These are small but mighty tools one hopes they’ll never have to use. I tested the seatbelt cutter on some nylon webbing (with not quite as dense of weave as a seatbelt, however) and it sliced through it like butter. It is clear that it was intended to be used from the bottom of the hand (grasp it with the blade opening facing down like you were going to stab something) and quickly yank it through the seat you’ve pulled away from yourself to provide space. This quick stabbing or pulling motion (across the front of the body) allows the blade to cut more cleanly than trying to use it slowly. The manufacturer provides a very smoothly cut 3” inch disc of glass on which to test it. BE SURE TO WEAR EYE PROTECTION. It works just like a sprinig loaded center punch. Just place the tip against the glass then push to cause the pin to eject and strike the glass. We tried it on the test glass and it shattered immediately. Wish I had recorded it. Had to vacuum up the chips of shatter proof glass off the workbench and floor space araound it. Wife and I were both impressed, but she made me clean it up.MARKETING vs REALITY GRADE: AMOST SUITABLE FOR: every carIS IT WORTH IT?: At ~$8/ea, and considering one can be a life-saver, absolutely (but hoping you never get to find out)*PRECISE RATING: 5RECOMMENDATION: I’d get it if I were you.
