I'm not sure if there is anything in a brand name for something like this, but Singer products are tried and true and I don't think they would license something that wasn't at least decent quality. Maybe you could find a better value in a local discount bin, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find one on Amazon. Who has time to hunt for that when these are so cheap? These are simple items, so not much else to say except they work. Everything arrived as pictured and described, on time. Lots of potential uses including sewing projects, repairs, tacking random things in place or together, etc. Just buy them and when the moment of need arises, you'll be glad.

Great pins for the intended job. Used these to pin a foldable laundry basket into position so it could not be unfolded by my dastardly cat. Pins are good quality, none bent and about the length of a thumb. Would buy again, quality pins from Singer.

These safety pins ended up costing me a little over .24 cents each. You get what you pay for. Any time I can buy quality (even with safety pins) over quantity I do so. These pins don't bend if I put them through 2 layers of denim. Safety pins I bought at a dept. store in a huge bag were low quality junk, couldn't even pin one layer of polyester without some of them bending out of shape.I hope you as a customer remember my experience if you need pins!
