I learned the following by trial and error. Thread is very thin. It will jam in your machine if you don’t hold the thread tight to start sewing or chain stitch or use a starter patch. I also leave the needle in a starter patch Between projects. I had success with these adjustments.

These prewound bobbins are a great friend for quilters. I use them for piecing and have never had an issue. They’re strong and speed up my time at the machine. They are a standard in my quilting.

I was hesitant to buy pre- wound bobbins until I realized that they were cheaper than purchasing spools of bobbin thread and winding them myself. I’m sold now and will definitely continue buying the pre-wound.
