Have used it to set over 100 drop ins so far and still looks new. Haven’t had an issue yet would recommend for overhead work.

Pit the hammer drill in hammer mode and set anchors with ease. This tool makes the task safer in hard to reach areas.

Used for setting short "Redhead" concrete anchors. It is perfect. Long so you don't hit your own hand. And also leaves 4 indentations around the edge. So that you know it's set properly.

The zipper quality and material made it. Ended up buying it in black for her as well. She hasn’t put them down

I ordered this tool because I would be doing overhead run-out for DWV pvc,and would need hangers installed to support the pipe. This tool is much more efficient than having a manual drop-in anchor set tool because it saves you the labor of hammering in the anchor constantly which could lead to overexertion of the arms. It also saves time as it takes about a second to install the anchor, and is very simple to use. Just simply put the Simpson strong tie set tool in a sds rotary hammer drill and set the function to hammer mode,to which you would then install the anchor by hammering it in.Would highly suggest anyone who will be installing drop in anchors often to add this to their tool collection.
