Ideally, having odor control disposable liner bags makes this even more effective. Simplehuman, doesn’t make odor control liners for my model. I use another brand with odor control.

Due to the attachments recommended placement on the trash can lid and its lack of adhesive, it’s simple for it to fall into the trash bag and be discarded without anyone noticing. Consequently, the scent pod goes to waste so hard to recommend given cost of loss.

Love the option to buy these refills on Amazon instead of the website (for those times I am not ordering trash bags in bulk from Simplehuman). Fits perfectly in our Simplehuman kitchen trash can and works well. You can tell when it is empty and needs to be replaced because of the food smell that inevitably wafts from the trash can when the trash is getting full... So it definitely neutralizes odors for us. 10/10 would recommend.

Purchased this for my kitchen trash can. Works well as far as I can tell. Wish it had more fragrance. I have to be careful though when I empty my onside can! I accidently hit the deodorizer and it went into the bag I was emptying. Due to the high price if this I rummaged through the trash to find it! So be careful! It won't re stick so I had to come up with 2 way adhesive. Otherwise I like the concept

We have a simple human trash can and these are perfect. There is no stickiness and we love the quality. It genuinely does cover up odors and goes undetected with its sleek style that fits right into the trashcan. It is very small and perfect to keep those bad odors away!

I originally received one of these as a sample with the purchase of a simplehuman garbage can. I was able to install it pretty easily and it worked great. I installed and forgot about it, and about a week later I noticed a bad odor coming from the trash can, went to check and noticed the pod holder had fallen off and was probably buried somewhere below inside the dirty trash. I'm not going to go digging in my dirty bin for a small holder, so please beware of a weak adhesive (as others have noticed). It's also expensive ($20 as of this listing). Wish it would've come with a stronger adhesive or 2 holders (given how simple of a design it is) i'm sure the markeup is crazy for something that probably costs them $2.00 to make.
