Mounted on ceiling over back of boat. I can angle direction to circulate air over deck of boat. It really moves a lot of air. Speeds the drying time considerably. Easy to mount and seems durable.

This is my second purchase of this model fan. I put the first one in the greenhouse last year. It has worked perfectly for two summers. I put an inline thermostat so it would come on at 80 degrees. I just mounted my second purchase in the RV barn. These fans aren't quiet with a low setting. I use the lowest setting and it hums right along with a strong breeze. I may turn it up in the barn on hot days. We'll see. These units are all metal including the fan blades. Good quality. I highly recommend.

Love this product! Powerful! Abit loud but for the price point seriously good. All metal! Wish there was more screws/ mounting hardware. Nothing a $20 order can’t handle for hardware!

I work at a large 'hobby' farm in Florida. I do most of the installation and repair of the many electrical systems. Being close to the lightning capital of the USA, I am NO stranger to failures caused by lightning strikes on the property. I'm also a retired EE.We had several of these fans in one remote building and it took a 'hit'. This fan was the exact replacement as the others and works perfectly as expected. Inexpensive, too.

Fan works well, it has three speed settings, only drawback is it’s noisy especially on high setting, not sure why you would need it on the high setting as is very powerful . It would have been better in my opinion if the three speed settings were adjusted down . I will be fitting a speed controller for this fan to improve its functionality.

These are great fans in the shop. The really put out the air and making working on hot days better. I don’t think there is a remote with these so not sure why it wanted me to rate that. They have a pull cord that changes the speed. There are 3 speeds, high, even higher and very high. Love the velocity these put out. Much more than typical fans. These are truly commercial fans and worth the money.

Update: A little less than one year later and one works and the other doesn’t. We’re super sad as Arkansas summers are brutal!We used them outside for my daughter’s birthday party. We had it on a medium setting and it worked great. We could still hear each other which is what we were worried about and it cooled us quite a lot. We live in Arkansas and had her party at the end of August for anyone who knows Arkansas you know it was way too hot to be doing that without fans and lots of water. It was in the high 90s to 100s with high humidity and they helped us adults a lot. They also kept flies off of our food which was wonderful.

These fans are a great buy for a covered patio. Before having these fans I would often have issues with smoke coming back into my face when trying to run either of my grills. They push enough air to keep the smoke away from me and provide a nice cool breeze. The installation is as easy as drilling a hole in the thing you want to mount them to. Mine didn't come with mounting hardware, but I already have an assortment of nuts, bolts, and washers. I got these installed in minutes, it took longer running electricity to their location.These aren't direct wire fans. They have a standard 3 Prong plug on the end. The switch is a pull-chain like a ceiling fan. The switches are sturdy and the fans are easy to aim where you need the breeze.

These work great to cool my 3 car garage and keep the air moving! I did some research online to learn the proper setup. Point one fan in about halfway up the side of the garage door and one fan poiting out of the garage on the opposite side slightly higher.My garage was 102 degrees one day, so I opened the doors, turned my fans on and shortly after, the temperature dropped 4 degrees. They're not an air conditioner, but have a breeze and airflow in the garage DEFINITELY makes it more comfortable! I also hooked these up to wireless remote control outlets (you can also find on Amazon), so now I can turn them off and on with a remote control, awesome setup!My neighbor has an air conditioner in his garage, but was really impressed with how effective this fan setup is! And MUCH less expensive!In regard to noise, all fans are a bit noisy and there is no way around it. I would say these are comparable to a box fan most of us are familiar with.
