Not same as original.Went in screen frame but way too loose..I pumped up screen frame with hot glue gun an set corners in hot glue.Was able to install new screen in frame.

These are very close to the original Simonton corner squares that were built in 2000, but the parts that slide inside the aluminum rails is a little too thick. The "wings" that fit in the narrowst part of the aluminum extrusion measure 1.80mm on the new pieces compared to 1.57mm on the originals. 0.2mm may not sound like much, but this plastic is pretty tough--which is a good thing--and there's absolutely no way I can force them into the aluminum frame pieces. The thicker part of the insert is closer: just one tenth of a mm too large, with 5.70mm on the new vs 5.60mm on the old. One extenuating factor there is that the old corners aren't a uniform thickness there; they have two nubs per side ridge that make contact with the aluminum. You can see those in the closeup photo of old and new side-by-side, the yellowed old piece shows dark wear spots where the nubs rubbed against the aluminum, where the rest of each ridge is simply age-yellowed. I shaved these down using very sharp woodworking chisels, but you could use a hobby knife (please be careful!). I tried a file, and this plastic is very tough to abrade away, but it carves like a hardwood. In the picture with three corner pieces, the left is obviously an original that has cracked. The middle I have mostly shaved down to fit, and the upper right piece is stock. Aside from being slightly too large, I'm pleasantly surprised by how sturdy these are, and I'm guessing I can get another quarter century out of them. I spent roughly an hour shaving 4 pieces down, with each piece getting faster. I haven't re-screened yet, so I don't know how awkward the right-angle spline slot will be compared to the original rounded corner. The originals were splined with one continuous piece.
