These wireless headphones for Car DVD are compatible with universal Vehicle Entertainment Systems allowing backseat passengers to enjoy excellent sound clarity from movies, videos and music without disturbing other passengers and drivers.
How to get the best performance:
- Please use 2×AAA premium alkaline batteries and make sure they are inserted properly.
- Please check that the volume on your DVD player (and on the headphones), make sure they are turned up at a sufficient level.
- Please make sure that you try both channels on the headphones as your vehicle may be transmitting on either channel A or B. Using the wrong channel will cause intermittent sound issues.
- If your kids watch different movies on two DVDs, set each DVD on a different channel, and the headphone to the channel of the DVD you would like to listen to. Make sure your kids sit more than 20 inches apart to avoid the interference.
- If you installed a ceiling/roof mounted DVD player for all the people in different rows to watch the same program, we suggest you to choose channel A for both your DVD and headphone which may have better performance than channel B.
- For the toddler or someone who feel the headphone is too big, we suggest to use the included adjustable headbands to fit you better. The headband incorporates memory elastic stainless steel strips inside, you can remould the headband shape to fit you better, or adjust the wearing angle to make the headphones fit snug on your ears.
2 Channel Option / Built-in Sharing Port

For watching different movies on two DVD monitors, set each DVD on a different channel (channel A & channel B), and the headphone to the channel of the DVD you would like to listen to.
Designed with 3.5mm AUX sharing jack on the right side of the headphone allows another ear buds/headphones to plug in. In this way, passengers in the second and third rows can share the movies/music without interference.
Two Listening Modes / Automatic Shut Off
Simolio IR Headphones not only connect wirelessly in your car. A 3.5 mm audio cable allows working with smart phones, Kindle fire, tablets and even airplane entertainment systems as a regular headphone without battery.
Headphones will automatically shut off after approximately 5 minutes when no audio signal in to ensure maximum battery life.
Pay Attention to the IR Transmitting Angle and Distance
Sound will be cracking if sit too far away, or not in sight of IR transmitter, which is limitation of the IR system type, not the product itself. The best audio signal will be obtained if you sit directly in front of the monitor within 33 feet. If you sit on either side of the monitor you can expect the same great reception within 35 degrees to the left or the right of the monitor.

The headphones were smaller than expected but not too small for adults or too big for kids.. biggest issue was they did not shut off automatically which was one of the reasons I bought them for the grandkids. Also they lacked treble for the amount of bass they had. I am pick when it comes to clarity. The one original uconnect headset in my 2016 Grand caravan had triple the clarity of these but half the bass. One good thing about them was they connected to my VES easily. I had high hopes. Guess I need to lower my expectations for the price. I’ll rate them a 5.5 out of 10.

Other reviews are correct, these are not really made for adults. I purchased them for my in car DVD player for the kids and they worked great. I didn't expect to use them for adults so that doesn't bother me.They fit my 2 year old all the way up to a 9 year old comfortably.I didn't have to do anything to connect them to my car, it picked up immediately. I also love that they're just double AA battery, although rechargeable would be nice.

2017 Nissan Armada Platinum with factory headrest monitors. Works great with no setup required. I put the batteries in and handed them to my kids. At 7 and 10 I told them that the A/B switch referred to which monitor, and they figured out the rest no problem.I listened to them, and they sound good, are pretty comfortable, and they lasted 4+ hours on the last trip. Don't know what battery percentage is left, but I know they aren't dead yet.

We have a Dodge Caravan with the DVD player. The stock headphones broke were the batteries were inserted. We getting ready to start our family trip and needed headphones for all of our kids. I found these. When you look at the price of replacing headphones with stock, you suddenly realize that aftermarket headphones are the way to go. These worked great for movies on the car DVD. The nice bonus is that these headphones come with an adapter that allows you to connect them to 1/8 inch headphone jacks. This allowed us to only take these on our trip and not pack extra headphones for different devices. These aren't Bose headphones, so don't come with the wrong expectation. For car trips, these provided my kids with everything the needed and then some. They are sturdy and I expect them to last longer than the stock headphones. (Our trip this year was over 3600 miles, and we were in our van for 68 hrs. No complaints from the kids about their headphones during this time!)

My kids are hard on earphones. So far I really like these. They keep battery life well. They can bend them and they don't break. Good speakers. Overall great product.
