Okay everyone if you have a hot tub no matter what it's brand these seem to be generic mineral cartridges that can either fit in the filter tubes or you can sometimes put them between the filter tubes and the piping. No matter what you want to have these in your tub. I have discovered there is no amount of chemicals that will stop your tub from scaling over and causing a nightmare on the walls on the plumbing on your jets. Make sure you add one of these every four months or every time you change your water it will save you tons of time dealing with scale solutions in water. There are other sizes find the one that works best for you or just make sure you use the mineral cartridges that your hot tub provider recommends but do not open and use a hot tub without them!

Having used these before, I couldn't resist ordering these Hot Tub Silver Ion cartridges. In my experience, they work really well by preventing growth of all the nasty microbes that like to take up residency in hot tubs, extending the life of the filter by quite a bit. I've also noticed I don't need to use as much chlorine when using these, nor do I have to drain and re-fill the tub quite as often. They're really easy to install - just take the filter out, stick it in the hole, and reinstall the filter. The only somewhat tricky part is getting the post that sticks out the bottom to line up with the hole the filter screws into since the space is pretty tight, but it isn't that bad.

Silver Ion cartridges will not disinfect a hot tub on their own, but they add to the protective effect of chlorine or bromine, and allow me to use lower chemical levels. I have bought more expensive ones before, but these cost less and are just as effective. They do seem to last about three months.

These are a must have for your hot tub as it keeps your water clearer, and also keeps the chlorine level consistent. I insert it inside of the filter and plug it in and the effects are definitely noticeable

I can't really say if this is a chemical saver as we just got the Hot Springs Relay model. It seemed like I was constantly adjusting the chemical balance for the first couple of weeks. Then after adding this into the hot tub, I'm able to check every couple of days and it seems to be more of a minor tweak. Can't say if the fresh water from when installed finally balanced or this is keeping it more in check. Plus, I just added the Frog @Ease system, which is also supposed to reduce chemical use. Where the Relay has an actual spot for these mineral sticks to be placed, I would think they must work if the manufacturer is installing an option for them, and of course selling you the mineral sticks.

Got this 4pack of off-brand silver ion cartridges for a Hot Springs hot tub. The tech said you want to replace these monthly if the hot tub is used often, or every 2-3 months if use several times a week or less. It seems to do the job but will see how it handles long-term.

Haven't used them long enough to vouch for their effectiveness, but they feel well made and look very similar to other brands I have used for years. Would recommend.

An exact fit for our tub. With the manufacturer recommending replacement every four months, it's nice to find these at a decent price too!
