Brush arrived on time and is very soft which is what I was looking for in a varnish brush. I took stars off because for over 20 bucks it should not be frayed. And it is, on both sides of the brush. And it was packed in a huge box without padding so Im thinking this was the cause of the poor condition I received it in...or just got a bad one to start off with. Who knows..Nonetheless I need it for a project so will have to keep it.

I use this not as a varnish brush but for texture and blending. It's becoming one of my favorite brushes. It does not shed at all and easy to reshape after cleaning. I paint in acrylics mostly on canvas.

Great brush. Use it primarily for varnishing finished paintings and have used it for several years now. Excellent overall and well worth the price!!
