Fox Alloy Silver Phosphorus Brazing Rods BCup-3
Characteristics:
The BCuP-3 silver brazing rod, is equivalent to the American standard AWS BCuP-3 national standard BCu88PAg and L205, the ductility and conductivity of the solder are improved because of the extra silver content, and the fluidity is good. It is suitable for brazing joints with large gaps. Quick heating should be applied during brazing.
NOTE:
It can be directly welded to red copper, but it is necessary to use flux when soldering copper alloys such as brass

Had a hole develop on my AC and this was my first time brazing copper. Brazed the hole closed and brazed in a new filter dryer. Melt temp seemed perfect, if it's works for a noob it should work for you

These quality 5%silver brazing rods made the job very easy, as a welder I jus dont braze very often. These rods flowed like melted butter under a propane torch. I would HIGHLY recommend these Fox Alloy rods , belive me the few extra dollars were worth the quality of product when performance counts.
