I bought this drive after reading reviews of other products. My wife's Dell Inspiron 8600's drive starting making clicking sounds and not reading any kind of disk. I spend hours looking for the right replacement drive. I read that there are a lot of problems with the Sony DW-D56A. This one is not a Sony which made me very pleased. I hope to not have any problems with this drive. It worked right out of the box. Easy to install. Quick shipping from the seller. I would suggest this to anyone who has a Sony DW-D56A drive.
