I keep my Christmas wear in these boxes and everything stays nice and clean until I need them again. I love the fact that they are red and green, so they are not confused with my regular china.

Honestly, I chose these based on price. I did not care what color the boxes were, I just needed a safe storage system for my antique dishes. The quality is great. The boxes lie flat for shipping and are easy to fold into place. They each have a covered cardboard square that rests in the bottom, to hold the box shape. The lids simply unfold and go right on top of the boxes. No latches, snaps, velcro or buttons. The lids fit nicely and are secure. You also get 48 felt divider (circles) to place in between each dish (to avoid breaking).

These are nice protectors BUT....they do NOT fit a dinner plate (10") size, thus they are not useful for what I needed.
