These are great. We bought them to use as trivets on our countertop. They are awesome and thick. The honeycomb design keeps the heat away from your hands.

Useful for most purposes, but they lack the type of grip that would keep them from sliding on most surfaces or used to loosen a jar for example.

These are awesome trivets and look and work great. But ... be careful if you have a black glass-top stove. Suppose you move a pan to a trivet on a cool burner and go to bed. wake you the next morning, start the stove for some bacon. Why not? the pan has been there since yesterday. Shoot, I forgot the damn trivit! Black silicone fall-out will be all over the place. Could start a fire if not caught.
