I just got a new microwave and I wanted to keep it clean. I had never noticed these mats before, but I am so glad I found them.These mat have two great purposes:First they help to keep your microwave clean. They catch so many of those irritating messes the microwave is so famous for. If something spills, as it always does, just take out the mat and wash it off. It is so easy to keep my microwave clean now.Second, you can use them to take your hot bowl or dish out of the microwave. No more burnt fingers trying to pull that hot bowl of soup out. No more dumping the whole bowl in the micro or on the stove because you burnt your fingers. I know you all know what I am talking about. When your food is done, just grab the edges of the mate and wrap it up around the sides of your hot bowl. Tada! You can now remove it without getting burnt or spilling it.I highly recommend these. I love them so much that I sent a set to my daughter. Love that there are two in the package, one person takes out their hot bowl and there is another one ready for the next person.

Got these after previous kind was damaged. These were cheaper for 2 than the previous one I had, but I did like my last one better. It was thicker and had concentric ridges. It held things in place better and held in place itself better. These are ok, but are thin and don't grip great. I will be keeping however because they will stand up for awhile being silicone.

I've been wanting one of these for so long and was so happy when it arrived. It came as a package of two mats. The silicone is nice and thin and lays perfect on the glass plate in the microwave. It eliminates that sound when you place a mug or plate on the glass, it wipes up easy with any spills. It's a great colour and came at the exact size I ordered. This would make a perfect gift. I don't know why I didn't get one long ago. I'm so happy.

We used to just put a paper towel in microwave to prevent loud clanks of mug on glass, these are much nicer and also allow us to easily pick up hot bowls and such. If something boils over these are large enough and rinse off in sink easily . I would buy these again.

I measured my microwave plate before I ordered this and it looked like it would be perfect, and it is! Now if I have a spill with the circular mat and a paper towel, any messes easy to clean up like if I have a boil over. It's super easy to wash and of course heat resistant so I could cook on it if I needed to. I'm super super happy and glad there is an extra.

This insert works well for trays whose inner circumference will accommodate it. Given the insert hasn’t raised edges spills will find their way under it. That said, one could easily find other uses for an easily cleaned and serviceable inserto f this nature, such as in a microwave.

I used to put a layer of paper towel on my microwave tray, to catch any mess, but having to change it all the time, and sometimes still having to take out that heavy glass tray to clean it was not ideal. I would always be so nervous I would break it! These silicone mats are perfect! Easy to clean, and doesn't allow any mess to seep through to the glass tray. If I have any complaint at all, is that I wish it was a little bigger. My microwave tray is about an inch bigger all around, so the silicone mat doesn't completely cover it, but it's still better than those pesky paper towels any day!
