I was very hopeful that these silicone earring backs would relieve some of the pain that the sharp metal backs create. I also wanted to use them to secure my fish hook earrings. I was disappointed on both counts. The silicone was not nearly as soft as I thought it would be and the backs did not fit onto my fish hooks at all.

I lost one of those expensive security backings, so I needed a replacement really bad. These were suppose to be a quick fix until my "good ones" arrived. These work very well, even better. They are snug, but soft and keep my diamond earrings perched up just the way I want them. I wear my earrings 24/7 and have not had one incident yet. I forget I'm wearing them. They are super easy to clean. I soak them in alcohol and use a jewelry cleaner brush to clear the inside. I have had these for sometime now and I'm still on the first pair. Keeping my replacement $50 crysma in box for now.

I am 55 and my pierced ears have seen a lot of wear and tear. The holes are a little oversized from catching earrings on brushes and combs through the years. Many earrings just don't sit right anymore and heavy ones are a no go. After trying several different options, these silicone backs are AMAZING! They grip the backs of my earlobes so that my favorite earrings look centered and good again. They are so comfortable that I can sleep with earrings in no problem! Every post earring I wear from this point on will have these backs! I cannot praise them enough!

I purchased these earring backs after I received a pair of small gold earrings for my birthday, and the backs were tiny and wouldn't stay tight on the post. I knew I wanted different backs but was unsure what to get since my ears are very sensitive. These backs have been great! They stay on the post nice and snug, and they're very comfortable. I used to never be able to sleep with earrings in, and now I totally forget I even have them in! Very happy with my purchase and spending a little extra for a better product.

The only reason I gave these four stars is that I didn’t realize how big they actually are. My ear lobes are smaller. They are clear so you can’t see the edges. They are easy to hold and put on because of their shape.
