So Many Uses in the Kitchen

Place a lid that completely covers the rim of any smooth rimmed container, such as glass or metal.
When cooking the lids will vent steam, then suck back down to seal as it cools.
When storing, simply press down gently on the handle.
To test suction, gently pull up on handle.
To release suction, lift the edge or slide off.

Oven Safe to 450 degrees

Use less foil and enjoy less splatter
Simply leave a small gap between the food and lid to allow for food bubbling and expansion while cooking
Use a mitt or utensil to remove the lid by sliding or lifting the edge

Microwave Safe for Easy Cleanup

Eliminate splatter
Choose a lid that fully covers the rim of the container.
Leave a gap between the lid and the food to allow for food expansion and bubbling while cooking;
The lids will vent while cooking then suck back down when cooling.
When removing, use a utensil or mitt to lift the edge or slide the lid off.

I tried out the large lid on a glass storage bowl I have. It fits great and I am mote than impressed with the seal. I will be buying another set as I am transitioning from plastic to glass storage and the lids that come with the glass are not always the best. AMAZING! Very very happy!!

You set the lid on a bowl. It sticks to it and seals. The end.I swear, it's as easy as this. I'm blown away with how good these silicone lids are. I was not expecting to be this happy over lids.In my quest to shovel out the mountain of plastic I have in my kitchen, I vowed to use my glass bowls exclusively. Except, I have way more glass bowls than lids. I needed lids. Happily, these silicone bowl lids 100% fit the bill. The beauty is that they don't have to exactly fit the bowl size; if it's too big, no biggie. It still seals.There are five lids in the set and they cover the full range of sizes in my nest of glass bowls. When you set the lid on top of a bowl, lightly press it if you'd like-- it'll push a bit of air out and set the seal. Or just set the lid on top and move on with your life. You do you. You can test the seal by lifting up with the center knob. It feels like magic when you can actually lift the bowl up doing this. But don't do that and think you're going to transport it to the fridge like that. Common sense tells us that's a stoopid idea. The disclaimer in the packaging backs up that concept as well.Maybe there are some surfaces where the silicone doesn't seal? I haven't found one yet. So far my bowls and pans are all digging the close personal relationship with the Silicone Bowl Lids.I bought mine in "white"--they're more a sort of transluscent, milky white. They haven't yet come into contact with tomato sauce but so far I've found them very easy to keep clean. I would be cautious with them on the lower dishwasher rack because the heating element tends to warp silicone.Five stars!

I love that you can use the larger size for smaller size bowls and containers too. You’re not limited to exact sizing - very convenient. They seal well and I no longer use plastic wrap if I don’t have a lid that fits on a bowl or container. These lids solved that problem, multi size use! They’re easy to wash & stack nicely which makes them easy to store!! Wish I had known about these sooner!

Good idea but doesn't withstand high heat for very long in the micro, still works as a cover for quick mic's and is a good, easy cover over dishes in the fridge. Do not try and lift up item from lid, suction not that strong, I also use over a cooking pan and is fine if cover completely covers top, no venting, will collapse

I haven’t found anything I dislike about these. I have used them to cover a pot on the stove, to cover bowls in the microwave, everyday to cover my tea or coffee to keep it hot longer and to cover food in the fridge, on the table to keep food warm and on the island while prepping. I have used them everyday since they arrived and I am planning to give them as gifts because they are so handy and versatile. I haven’t tossed them in the dishwasher yet. Why bother? They’re far too easy to wipe clean.I have several Pyrex and Anchor Hocking dishes that no longer have lids because they split so easily. These lids are a great replacement. I love the suction feature. It works better than the original lids and I bet they won’t need replacing nearly as often.My family has left fewer spills and splatters for me to clean in the microwave since we purchased these. I love the vibrant color. It is pretty and makes me happy.

These are actually coming in quite handy to slap on mixing bowls while holding aside in fridge or otherwise OR for longer term fridge storage OR for a quick-grab cover while cooking or microwaving. And in cases where condensation forms, such as during heating something wet where the suction may not be a factor, they still cover the pan well. They work as I expected on smaller rim vessels than their diameter but surprisingly, they also work even if there's not a smidge of lid diameter beyond the bowl or pan they are covering. While the suction effect is kind of a novelty, it's also effective when conditions are right for it, meaning no or minimal condensation, but these also seem to lie flat enough to provide a good enough cover even if there is condensation. They also seem to return to their flat shape even if bent a bit in storage. In other words, they are really growing on me as being pretty useful for a number of different applications. As for using in the microwave or stovetop where steam would form inside the pot, it's pretty easy to slide them off sideways safely, including even if the suction effect is happening.Where they are really handy, however, and one of the main reasons I bought them, I have a collection of vintage cast iron, 1940's and earlier Griswold or Wagner, all but the largest of which have no lids but they all have two flared pour spouts, impossible to cover otherwise. These lids work extremely well on those.All in all, with or without the cast iron, I'm finding these lids quite useful both while cooking and for storage.

Muy buen producto, en efecto la tapa queda al "vacío" una vez colocada en el recipiente de cristal y es tan resistente que uno puede levantar el bowl y no se cae..!!, Muy sorprendida con este producto y lo recomiendo ampliamente, además no ocupan espacio, se guardan muy fácilmente. Estoy muy satisfecha con el producto.

Cover on my food - waste cylindrical glass jar, my cylindrical glass kitchen wipes bowl. Any food bowls with food in them, they’re brilliant- amazing air tight suction…. And can used in freezer and oven!!

Wrong item delivered. The lids are different from those shown in the description. All the lids I received are of the same size 21.5cms. Poor quality with least suction effect.Do not recommend
