Good little drive but, I personally just ordered a small one, i’d recommend going with a 512GB version or higher. the design is very easy to install and setup. it produces minimal heat and sound as i cant even tell its there! this drive has worked great for me and has plenty of lifespan left for many years to come. and the speed is amazing! its a very nice blazing fast drive. 10/10 drive, but go for the 512GB instead.

Finally, after analysing so many NVMe, I finalized SP P34A60. After upgrading my Lenovo 330s with the SP NVMe 256GB SSD, my laptop has transformed. The performance is stable all time. Boot times are faster, and applications load almost instantly. Initially I thought if it is suitable for my laptop, but it fits and works perfectly. I checked my laptop manual for detail description of available ports. I am using HDD for storage and NVMe for boot.Installation: The installation process was straightforward, and once the SSD was in, Windows booted up within seconds. Migrating my system to the new drive was painless, thanks to cloning software that made transferring my files quick and easy.Reliability: Since installing the SP NVMe SSD, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the laptop’s overall responsiveness. File transfers are faster, and the system is more stable. There’s no sign of slowdown, even when performing resource-heavy tasks.Final Verdict: This SSD has given my Lenovo 330s a new lease on life. If you’re looking to supercharge your laptop without spending a fortune, the SP NVMe 256GB SSD is an excellent choice. I was happy with the performance and ease of installation. It provides a quick read/write device for the Raspberry Pi 5 and boots quickly. It was easy to clone the initial boot device (64 gb micro SD) to the SSD, reset the Pi boot order, remove the SD and then boot from the SSD. The piclone utility on the Pi 5 was used for the clone operation & SSD preperation. The Pi was then used to expand the file system to provide full access to the full SSD file space.

It works great for me - I order Silicon Power for anything that's not my boot drive, and they always work great. Great cost, and great performance. I get these for family and anyone asking me for help to make their pc faster. Haven't done any benchmarking on them, but I've never seen them slow down on any of the devices that I've installed them in.

I added this to the 2nd SSD slot in my MSI laptop. It shows up as the D: drive with about 248gb of free space. Works great! It seems fast enough, but it's a bit slower than the factory C: drive when Norton Antivirus scans large files. I took away 1 star for that. I also have Silicon Power 2.5 in SATA 256gb SSD in my other laptop. This brand seems as good as any other budget SSD.

For any application that calls for a gen3 nvme ssd I recommend these hands down. The price relative to capacity and performance is unbeatable. Built numerous computers using these and have never had any issues. Speed is exactly as expected from a gen3 while having no issues with heat or drive errors. Definitely strongly recommend these to anyone!

I got this to upgrade a new laptop that simply didn't have enough storage. It was fast and easy to install it in my Dell laptop, fortunately - just open the 8 screws, pull off the lid, and swap it out. Some systems might be harder.Getting it working was a little harder, as I had to manually reinstall Windows and put my software on. If I was migrating from an old system to a new one, I'd have done a lot of backups, but this was nice and easy.Performance is great. Haven't had any issues with all that space; it just runs and doesn't complain. I've had a few SP drives before and these always work well. No regrets!

i used to have 5200 rpm hdd on my laptop. even getting updates was difficult to install. then i got this ssd. man oh man it makes a hell lot of difference now. im not gonna say this will make your pc ultra fast but you will be able to see the difference in the speed of booting. and im totally satisfied with this product. very good ssd. if you are on a strict budget and looking for an affordable ssd then this is it.
