My 11 year old is fairly new to basketball and has a hard time with his handling and ball control. He's able to get some additional practice time due to having this ball inside the house. It's weight and how it feels in the hand is pretty close to a real basketball. I'd say it has maybe 80-90% of the feel and weight. Then dribbling, you it takes about similar effort to dribbling outside, you can dribble low with this or high. it won't bounce as high as a real ball as expected. I say expect the experience to be dribbling a regular ball that is a little bit low on pressure.When you get this, it comes in a vacuum sealed bag. You'll want to let it out of the bag and let it sit at least overnight if not longer for it to fully expand to it's full roundness.Overall - great gift for any basketball fans kids, adults, even my dog tried to push it around like a soccer ball.

I love how quiet it is while you bounce it but this thing is a pet hair magnet. It doesn’t just stick to the outside of the ball where you can just brush it off, it sticks into the ball so you have to pull out the hairs or use something sticky to get the hairs out of the ball. The lines on the ball are also ehhh, some places they’re light and some places they’re darker.

A little bigger then expected but it gets the job done. No sound. My only issue is the prices of the ball start to come off after a while

My son won't put this down. Maybe I should 1-star for this?? An addiction has been created? Honestly, this is a solid buy. He dribbles throughout the house and practices his layups against the wall now. I would be infuriated if this was a true basketball going through the house and off the walls. It is fun, instructive and seems true to a size 7 ball. I have not been bothered by the noise after a week of use, but my son uses it hours a day. I wish I had gotten him the size 6 version when he was a little younger and not waited till he "sized up" to size 7.He is developing his skills indoors without having to go outside or the garage. It is worth the purchase to me.
