Great shipment speed but we found the arcing current in our house, which led us to return this because our circuit breaker is still good. We checked obvious locations on the circuit like the outlets and unplugged everything but we missed the ceiling fan. The ceiling fan has a pull chain, which was entangled on the lightbulb base in the light fixture. Even though the light was off, there was just enough interference to cause this to trip the breaker. It was a tough find but I encourage anyone looking to replace a breaker to look EVERYWHERE they can first.

I recently upgraded my electrical panel with the Siemens QA120AFCP 20-Amp Single Pole 120-volt Plug-On Combination AFCI Breaker, and I'm incredibly satisfied with its performance and safety features. As a homeowner with a keen focus on electrical safety, this breaker has been a game-changer for my household.First and foremost, the installation process was a breeze. The "Plug-On" design made it easy to snap the breaker into my Siemens electrical panel without any hassle. The clear and concise instructions provided by Siemens ensured that I completed the installation safely and correctly, even for someone with limited electrical knowledge like myself. What sets this AFCI breaker apart is its ability to detect and protect against both parallel and series arcing faults. I feel much more secure knowing that it's actively monitoring my electrical circuits and quickly tripping if it detects any potentially hazardous situations. It gives me peace of mind, especially knowing that arc faults are a leading cause of electrical fires in homes. The quality of the Siemens QA120AFCP breaker is evident in its robust build and construction. It feels solid and well-engineered, which further adds to my confidence in its reliability. I appreciate that Siemens is a reputable brand known for producing high-quality electrical components, and this breaker lives up to those standards. In terms of performance, the breaker operates flawlessly. I've been using it for a few months now, and it has not tripped unnecessarily or caused any nuisance trips. It delivers consistent and reliable protection for my circuits, making it an essential component of my electrical system. Moreover, the 20-Amp rating suits my needs perfectly. It provides adequate protection for the specific circuits in my home, and I've noticed a significant improvement in the overall safety of my electrical setup since its installation.Additionally, the breaker's compact size saves valuable space in my electrical panel, allowing for potential future expansions or upgrades without any concerns about overcrowding.Although safety was my primary concern when choosing this AFCI breaker, I must also mention that the pricing is reasonable for the quality and protection it offers. It's a worthwhile investment in safeguarding my home and family from potential electrical hazards. In conclusion, the Siemens QA120AFCP 20-Amp Single Pole 120-volt Plug-On Combination AFCI Breaker is a top-notch product that delivers on its promise of enhanced safety and reliable performance. Its ease of installation, robust build, and ability to protect against arc faults make it an indispensable addition to any homeowner's electrical panel. I'm genuinely impressed with this breaker and the peace of mind it brings, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their electrical system with an advanced and trustworthy AFCI breaker.

Did what some others happened to do - search in disgust not finding a comparable replacement when it came to a GE box - no GE does NOT manufacture Arc-Fault Breakers for the 'mini style' breaker boxes. After frustrating searches I had found this option and once here checking around for it also found reviewers with same claim - will work in a GE mini. Gave it a try - AND - the result - it fits right - it works right - it never trips !As another had suggested - do search and choose the right one ... my box being of 20 yrs in service needed the 'pigtail' for neutral - make sure which u have. IF current breakers have only 'hot blacks' attached - they use seperate neutrals (whites to a bar similar to grounds) - need the 'pigtail'.ALSO found Siemens does carry a 'dual circuit' arc breaker in their arsenal which takes up 'same space' as this 'single circuit' arc breaker that takes 2 mini spaces. Of course its double the cost - but its double the value IF u need to make space or running out of it. This breaker is at the top in quality and do recommend their products - for what they verify it will fit AND for what I verify it will fit.* AS for 'trip kick offs* - IF u run into constant trips - there is an issue - dont go n install a larger rated breaker - get some help n find the problem - its NOT the breaker !

I replaced a circa 2007 Siemens AFCI with this newer combination AFCI. The old AFCI would always trip when a transfer switch was used to change from LINE power to GENERATOR power. I have learned that some of the older AFCI's are not very tolerant of the less than pristine power produced by a generator thereby causing it to trip. Since I swapped out the old AFCI and replaced it with this combination AFCI I have not experienced any false trips while running on generator power. Installation is straight forward, just be sure to cut all power to your service panel before attempting.
