Product Description

Siemens offers a wide array of thermal-magnetic circuit breakers that are the key element for overload and short-circuit protection of your home's electrical system. To provide additional protection Siemens offers circuit breakers to protect against severe electrical shock or electrocution, mitigate the risk of electrical fires and protect against damaging surges and-Voltage spikes. Circuit breakers are intended for switching and protection of your home's wiring from high temperatures caused by excess current higher than the rating of the wire. While thermal-magnetic circuit breakers are the key element for overload and short-circuit protection of your electrical system, there are potentially dangerous conditions that do not involve over current.

From the Manufacturer

Siemens space saving, plug in circuit breakers are intended for use in Siemens EQ, Siemens Ultimate, ITE, and Gould load centers and meter combinations that are rated to accept type QT breakers. Check wiring diagram to confirm. To ensure the warranty on a Siemens panel is not voided, the use of Siemens breakers is required. The duplex breakers provide two single pole breakers in the space typically required for only one standard breaker. These duplex, 1/2-Inch frame breakers are ideal when new circuits are required in a panel that has no available spaces.

They are a factory circuit breaker...new ,not used and fit as my new replacement. Came quick and swapped it out...if you don't have the experience to do the work yourself, then don't! You can save a few bucks from the big box stores and know exactly what your getting...just get someone qualified to swap it out for you....have to save some $$ these days!

Used this in a camper that originally had a 15/30 breaker. Upgraded to 30/30 and upgraded the cord going to the power pole.

Fits a Sylvania panel box that was discontinued 40 years ago. A similarly spec'd Square D or Siemans breaker is a third the cost.

I bought these circuit breakers meaning to replace some older, failing ones in a house my mom used to live in.Accidentally bought a slightly different type than the original ones, but they still seem to work okay.Worth the money! 🙂
