Siemens space saving, plug in circuit breakers are intended for use in Siemens EQ, Siemens Ultimate, ITE, and Gould load centers and meter combinations that are rated to accept type QT breakers. Check wiring diagram to confirm. To ensure the warranty on a Siemens panel is not voided, the use of Siemens breakers is required. The quadplex breakers provide two double pole breakers in half the space of standard sized breakers. These triplex, 1/2-Inch frame breakers are ideal when new circuits are required in a panel that has no available spaces. Siemens strongly recommends against the use of "used" breakers. The installation of used breakers in a Siemens panel will void the warranty on the panel. Siemens does not sell used breakers and has not approved any 3rd party sellers to do so.

I needed a breaker without restrictor plates, the PDF spec sheet on Amazon shows the stab points at .75", there are others with different ratings without plates, tried to match the one i had with plates. Bob was very accommodating, thank you for your help.

Works. Little odd that the tie between the outer 240 breakers is a metal clip that flops around but this will still power your stove, etc just fine.

I had to grind off a small piece of metal (the "rejection clip") to get it to fit in my Siemens panel. Otherwise, it would not fit in any slot.I think this is safe, because the breaker is sized correctly for the wires, but I'm not sure if it's code-compliant.

A power outage blew my breaker for oven. Bought this and replaced it.Overall a straight forward job. Look up on YouTube on how to replace and just be extra careful. Shut the main switch off and triple check to make sure no electricity is running.

According to Siemens themselves, this type of breaker isn't even ok to use in Canada so I don't know why it's sold here.

This provided a 220V double pole piggy-back that worked great. Only issue we had was it not fully seating due to the top slots not being quite deep enough. However, the seat was close enough that the load center's panel cover installed which prevented the breaker from moving.
