This clip works perfectly with the shure mv88+ microphone. It allows you to clip the mic to any tripod you have due to the built in cold shoe mount on the included phone mount. The phone mount fits most tripods. Excellent purchase!

These seem a little on the pricey side for what they are. The phone clip is plastic and does not seem like it will last very long; the mic clip is not much different (I basically got this because it’s Shure-branded and I didn’t want to have to mess with a different sized mic clip but ended up just using the spring loaded clamping type that I had laying around). You might be better off buying a pricier metal phone clamp or you may end up having to repair your phone at some point. The mic clip is also just a cold shoe mount and you could definitely find something a little more rugged if you wanted. I’m not too stoked but it’s also almost too cheap to return. Better luck next time guys.
