I got these for jewelry, truth be known. I know people who want to wear shungite for emf issues, so I thought it would be nice to have something creatively incorporated into an artistic pendant.SIZEThese are as shown in the listing. The sizes are good and nice shapes too for my purposes.DIRTYThese are dirty. They have a lot of dark soot on them. To use them for jewelry, I am washing them a lot and then will encase them in beaded cases so that they will not rub on skin or clothing. For use in water, these have to washed really well to use.IN WATERI have not seen a big difference using these in water. They are pretty dirty, so they need to be rinsed a lot before using them for drinking water. The idea is that you put them in the bottom of a pitcher and they will change the water to be more body friendly.THE BOTTOM LINENice presentation, but be prepared to wash these a lot when getting them.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. This seems to be what it is advertised to be. It is dirty, but that is the nature of much of shungite. I can not fault it for being what it is naturally speaking.

Up until now, I only had one very small tumbled Shungite that I have been keeping near a boom box. This is a real treat to now have 6 sizable raw Shungite stones, which usually come from Russia. I think a few of my stones were a bit shorter than 30 mm so someone must have included an extra one. The total weight of all my stones was about 124 g or 4.3 oz. I ordered these interesting stones to explore more what I could do with Shungite.Due to very high carbon levels, these are supposed to be very good for water purification. Yet, handling the stones became quite messy for me. These stones also seem to have some of the capabilities of charcoal, too. My hands became totally stained with black. This is okay, for it validates that these are likely genuine Shungite stones. And yet I probably won’t handle them excessively because I don’t like the mess. I won’t know how to speak to the exact quality, since I am not a professional.I plan to leave some stones by my microwave, computer, and electronic gadgets to try to protect from EMF. I tried to use one for chakra balancing and felt like the Shungite helped improve my circulation. I cannot really prove this, but this was my experience. I did feel something out of the ordinary. I am happy I ordered these. I look forward to learning more how I may benefit from this unique set of stones.

I like to collect rocks, crystals, etc., but I'm no expert. These BOMBAY CRYSTALS EXPORT Raw Shungite Stones (30-70mm/5 Pieces) were exactly as described in terms of size & count, and my rock identifier app actually identified these as Shungite, so at least there's that. (Though my app was also referencing Elite Shungite, while these are just Regular Shungite.) I had hoped these were from Shunga, but if they were, it would definitely mention that in the product info as that's one of the largest sources. India & a few other countries do also have small deposits of shungite, so it's possible to get authentic mineraloids from outside of Russia.(I had hoped to be able to use these for a necklace design, but since this type is definitely better suited for water purification or maybe displayed in a bowl, I'll have to find some Elite/Noble specimens to try making EMF protection jewelry to hopefully deal with less carbon dust getting all over me. I know some people don't believe the whole EMF absorption thing, but if it may provide some protection, what's the harm in giving it a try? Some people are definitely more sensitive to EMF in their environment than others.)

Bought this recently. It is a very soft stone and can be scratched with some metals, but it contains natural filters. Clean with warm, soapy water and dry for several hours.It provides a powerful defense against harmful energies created by the electromagnetic frequencies of electronic devices. It has very strong grounding properties and earth energies.
