Instructions say to mount on a clean, flat, non porous, untextured surface. The bond is 2 fold; adhesion and suction. The adhesive is strong and the suction cup is wide but imo, somewhat shallow. I applied a good amount of pressure before activating the suction lock switch and it has not fallen down since the initial mount 2 months ago. It is made entirely of plastic so I'm mindful to make adjustments and to remove the shower head, gently.

At first it wouldn’t fit, but when I turned it and put it in the right way it works great very sturdy also, we will see how long it lasts.

We've had it holding our 2nd detached head on it. Its pretty heavy and its still rock solid. It also holds it tight but not so tight you can't get it out.

The product is made to fit the shower hose and not the shower handle. The lighter color plastic that looks like rubber is actually just hard, inflexible plastic. Then it was super hard to remove (even after only one minute) as if the back had glue on it and wasn’t a removable gel like it looks.
