Have been looking for a spade that is tall enough so I don’t have to bend down and sharp enough for me to cut thru different types of soils. Have done some major landscaping this season and realized I was working too hard. This spade made the difference! It’s the right height for me (I’m 5’6”) and has the means to push into soil with my foot. It’s quite sturdy and all soil falls off of it so it remains clean. The one thing that surprised me and allowed a good laugh was that it was delivered in a box the size of a crib mattress, but light enough for me to pick up. A dozen plants are now in the ground, painlessly. Couldn’t be happier.

I was using an old wood shovel for a while and I purchased this shovel and it definitely works well. I love the foot parts on the sides of the shovel to dig into your work. This has definitely been a godsend since I'm doing new flower beds!!

It is a full size shovel that is a pleasure to work with. Not heavy like a wood handle and is holding up well.

Overall a great product for the money. Strong construction, and comfort for use. I live on a rural property that is in constant flux for improvement. Money is always an issue. So finding a product that is inexpensive and does the job is always a win.

Bought it due to it being the least expensive option around and found it to be very sturdy and solid, the part you push with your feet is notably larger and makes it much more comfortable to use, would've been happy at twice the price.
