They work ok. They can shift with weight on a hard floor, and for some reason the top surface has a retaining edge on only TWO sides?

I use these risers to replace my couch legs that broke. The couch is very heavy, and these risers have kept the couch still; they don't slide.What I don't like is that they're so big and bulky looking. As long as you're looking for function and not style, these risers are great.
