These are a shoulder length rubber glove. I'm 6' tall and they come to within a couple of inches of my shoulder joint. They would probably not go over a thick coat but a jacket they go over just fine. The hands are lined with a kind of fleece to help with warmth. The rubber or PVC or whatever is pretty thick so I don't think they are going to tear easily. I used them for picking up decoys the last couple of times we hunted and they worked just fine. They are not designed to be gloves you just wear to hunt, you put them on when you need them. Great addition to a blind bag. I had a pair like this once that was neoprene and they worked but they didn't fold or roll up into a small bag and got left at home if we were not hunting from a fixed blind. These I can fit in a small waterproof bag and have there for the end of the hunt.

These duck hunting gloves are exactly as advertised and are definitely waterproof! I have been using them for cleaning my hot tub in winter weather and they definitely help! The sleeves are easy to put on and don't snag easily on other clothing and they keep dry. I only wish the lining were thicker and warmer so I still don't get so cold underneath. They are large enough though where I could probably wear a thin pair of gloves underneath them to help.Star Ranking Rubric: 🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Outstanding product, exceeds expectations, would purchase again/recommend to friends, family, clients ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Great - Excellent product, meets and somewhat exceeds expectations, would recommend, has room for improvement ⭐️⭐️⭐️: OK – Decent product, may contextually recommend, has definite shortcomings but is functional/serves a purpose. Having owned literally dozens of pairs of long gloves over the years for winter work on the water, perhaps my opinion of these is skewed. They're probably great if you dont have to do anything other than grab a floating duck, but if you have to do much else, you're gonna get wet, and they're going to wear out. Perhaps those with small hands will not have this assertion, but with average sized mens hands, the gloves are poorly fitted, and have a significant amount of stress in the crux of the index finger and thumb, so that gripping a handle, rope, or pole will quickly destroy them.

Very nice gloves. Strong against tears. Keep my hands dry when sitting traps in water.

My husband uses these gloves during the season for setting out decoys and trying to get his dog back into the boat: both activities generally causing him to get his hands and lower arms wet. Thankfully, these gloves have been waterproof (so far) so he's been able to stay a lot drier and warmer as a result.

I am not a duck hunter, I am a rabbit breeder. I only breed one type of rabbit for pets and while they are gentle and cuddly, the rabbits I breed for meat are not always so fond of being handled; enter these awesome, AWESOME gloves. I am much more confident handling a kicking rabbit with sharp claws when I've got these amazing things protecting my hands and the entire length of both arms. There is a type of fabric within the rubberized part, so, they are very heavy-duty and aren't poked through easily. If I ever have to replace these, I will not hesitate to buy more. They're AMAZING!
