Sits too high on jack , and I have a low profile jack and even with my truck on ramps it was still way too high with the transmission on it. Ended up having to make a platform that sat flat on the jack. So this was a waste of money and time.

I haven’t used it on my transmission yet but it fit my old Craftsman’s jack perfectly. It did not fit my newer Harbor Freight jack, though.

Much sturdier Nathan I thought but would be for the price and assembly took less than 10 minutes. My Jack was a little off balance but used a slightly larger 3 ton and no problem whatsoever.

Ordered these to put in my trailer tool box for those on the road tire changes. Box is marked 2000 Kg not lbs so the 2 ton spec is a little conservative. Very basic operation in that the center tube simply slides up and down the base and is locked into place using a pin and safety pin.The unit's legs fold into a very compact size perfect for putting inside of a toolbox. This is not something I would use daily or in the garage as the mechanism would be slower to use than the regualr style but for emergency roadside use it appears to be exactly what I was looking for.The stand appears to be soldily built and capable of the weight specs listed.
