This went into our 5 gallon shop vac, and it was immediately better than our last filter (which we bought from Home Depot). The price was better than there too. The filter didn't try and flex at all when I was putting it in place, and was a snug fit. It seems to be holding up under everything we use it for so far (it hasnt collapsed yet), we use our shop vac to clean out the fine ashes in our pellet stove when it's off and gone cold before we next switch it on, so far cleaning it has been easy with a soft bristle brush. The filter is definitely thicker than the last one, so it should last longer. Will more than likely buy this again.

I’ve had two of these used both on a one year old and brand new vac. Installed per instructions. The problem is that dust leaks at the sealing surface both top and bottom. What’s the point of having a expensive HEPA filter if it leaks dirty air back into the room?
