Works well, is effective. It's surprises you that it zaps louder than you think, but we cheer everytime a fly or mosquito bites the dust. The light lasts a very long time. Good product.

The bulbs finally went out on my Micnaron bug zapper after 4 years and ordered these to replace them. They fit just fine and have been good for a month. I know others have mentioned that these bulbs don't last long or as long as the original bulbs. Time will tell how long these will last and I will update this review when they finally go out but so far so good.

The zapper itself is good but I ordered new bulbs and none of them worked. They make rattling sounds. This reminded me that I've gone through this with the same company. Save yourself time and money and buy at your local hardware store so you can shake the bulbs beforehand. Frustrating.

Purchased in August and installed two in my bug zapper. 3 months later one bulb is burnt out and the other is heading in the same direction. Yes, it's running 24/7 but 3 months seems to be much less than what I got with the original bulbs that came with the device. On a plus side, I do have 2 more to use while thinking about where to buy the next set.
