I use the smallest (#0) size hooks on two dog run cables to both lengthen the cables and to attach to the dog harnesses. I have small dogs and these work great for quick attachment or release from the harness and they are much easier to work with than the typical slide hooks that come with the cables. My hands have a tough time dealing with those small hooks that are on the cables, so I cut them off and use these snap hooks instead. They don't rust, the moveable clasp operates like new a year later unlike the type I throw away and they don't catch grass in the mechanism so they slide freely over the lawn when the dogs move around. For my needs, these are great!
