I was not able to tell the size of the screw-depth from the description. Item arrived and was much to large for average frames/framing projects.

I bought these to anchor the upper section of stacked folding shelves. I used two on each side and looped a zip tie through them and around the rear uprights of the shelf unit. I drilled a pilot hole for each screw but didn’t use soap on the threads. The eye screws went in smoothly and securely with just finger tightening. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
