This is my first pair of bone conduction headphones. Many of the reviews I read said that they sound like you're listening in a tin can or the same as your phone playing music just place next to you. No. They sound great. Maybe not quite as great as in the ear or over the ear noise reduction headphones. But really good.The reason I say not bone conduction, is that I can gently pull them away from my head and the sound sounds very similar.I think they're best described as rear facing speakers that point towards your ear canal.Regardless. It works!I don't know I have them on. Very comfortable. I can hear everything around me.People look at them but still respond to me as if I'm not talking to them with headphones in my ears. Because they're not. I can hear them just fine.Battery life is great! All day listening on a single charge.And I use them for phone calls often and people can hear me quite clearly.I wear them all day and I am a housewash contractor. So they are wet and covered with bleach water. And they don't seem to be affected at all.I didn't try any of the cheapies before this. This is my first pair of bone conduction. Or what they say is bone conduction. I'm very satisfied.I've been through many many pairs of headphones over the years and decades. Cheap, expensive, in the ear, over the ear. On balance of all things considered these are my favorite.Worth what I paid for them.

Grymt snygg färg, väldigt bra att cykla/jogga med bland trafik/andra. Använder dem till telefonsamtal privat och i jobb och får bra feedback, låter som jag pratar direkt i luren. Löp och köp!

I bought the SHOKZ OpenRun Pro 2 Mini after extensive research and product comparison. I am happy to confirm that this headset completely meets my requirements :- open air transparency able to hear my surroundings; reasonably good sound quality; comfort of extensive wearing, and good bluetooth connectivity.

I initially ordered the standard size, thinking “Bigger is always better, right?” Nope. It was fine but felt like I was wearing a hula hoop around my neck. After sending it back and swapping it for the Mini, I’m never going back. Despite having a larger head (thanks, genetics), the Mini fits me way better—snug and secure without that awkward "flopping around on a jog" feeling. Honestly, I often forget I’m wearing them. I’ve walked into the shower more than once before realizing they were still hanging around my neck.As for comfort, these things are a dream. There is a size chart on Shokz website and it is true to size. I feel I may have benefited from the minis however I feel it is a minor design flaw not having these be adjustable. I can fit a full hand between my head and the headband. I feel the earpiece itself could afford to be slightly more flexible. It is very stiff contributing to that ear fatigue.Private listening. My partner had to get within 3 inches of my ear to hear anything at 100%So private you can share a pillow. Late night listening at 30% volume on my iPhone 14, was perfect volume to share a pillow with my partner and he couldn’t hear anything. After 50% it was loud enough he could faintly hear it in a quiet room. On separate pillows, 100% volume is detectable in a quiet room by my partner. We turned on a fan and it made it undetectable. However, turning on the fan, did make my listening experience less pleasant due to the open ear. Counter to that however, laying down on my ear did double the volume without decreasing any of the comfort!Not great for back sleepers. The back strap protrudes about half an inch from my head. Laying on my back forces the earpieces to shift from where they need to sit. Side sleeping is 10/10. I can sleep uninterrupted 6 hours. No issues.Makes my alarm private! I sleep in these with them on and idle through the night. Allowing my alarm to only wake me. Not disturbing my partner in the slightest.I have a hypersensitivity to Nickel and other metals in headphones plus a hypersensitivity to latex in rubbers. These have caused NO ADVERSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS.Discreet for most. I keep my head shaved and beard short so they are easy to see on me. My partner has shoulder length hair and an inch long full beard. You can’t see them unless you are hunting for them. Under a toboggan? No way. Hair frames your face? Easy.Unfortunately limited in color selection.This product is a great value for the quality. For a fair review across the board I’m giving this 9.2/10.
