I put one shoe in each bag and washed on the delicate cycle. Both bags unzipped. When the load was done, I found each shoes outside the respective bag. So, what's the point?

I purchased these with a kind of "Can't Really Do What They Say Or Be As Good As Advertised", but I was surprised.These go above & beyond!!Extremely easy to use, excellent value for the money, & functionality & durability are worth the money!!I have washed every pair of Sneakers in my collection without worrying about any damage at all.They scrub & wash ur sneakers thoroughly but gently.FYI: Use liquid detergent instead of powder for best results!! They make ur Sneakers look new...

The first time used, both bags opened up during the wash cycle and the sneakers came out. You still have to use a sneaker rack in the dryer to dry them.

I washed 2 cloth sneakers and was not satisfied with the results, but I'm looking forward to the results with non-cloth sneakers. The photos above are after washing!

This package contained 2 shoe wash bags. The inside of the bag is basically lined with mop hairs aside from the 2 ends which serve as vents for water. This has a zipper enclosure, and you WILL want to use the "lock", which means stuffing the zipper under a little elastic loop on the end. If you don't do this, these bags tend to open right up during agitation. Although this bag is big enough for an entire pair of most shoes, I do not advise doing this. During agitation the shoes will rub and thrash quite a bit on each other, usually resulting in at least a bit of cosmetic damage, sometimes tears though. When using just one shoe per bag, these things work great. My shoes came out clean and without any damage or scrapes (these are always a chance when you just throw shoes unprotected into a washing machine). I recommend these. And FYI - air dry your shoes.

This is a great yet simple invention, I grew up with my parents throwing my shoes in the wash and although it didn't bother me at the time, but I recall finding bits of things from my shoes on my clothes. If we had these shoe bags I would not have had that issue. When using them all the larger bits stay within the bag and you can clean it out after washing.Two thing I find really nice with these bags, there is a cover for the zipper to prevent it from marking up your dryer. Second, they included a nice loop that you can use to hang the bags with. These are the kinds of things that make a good product a great one.My shoes have come out clean and undamaged. I have not had to wash any of my shoes more than once, so cannot attest to multiple washes of the same shoe. As this was the issue with washing shoes in a washer without these bags, they would start falling apart at or after the second wash.These are just washing bags, do not try to use them to dry your shoes!
