This is sturdy, a good size, and doesn't take as much space. It is easy to put away if you don't use, and it looks durable. It also looks nice, I like the way it was made.

This thing is great! For years I have been throwing all my off season shoes in a big plastic storage bin, haphazardly, so I could throw them up into my attic. This doesn't hold as many pairs but they will definitely stay in better shape this way, with the dividers. I like that you can adjust the dividers and use less to have bigger spaces if you wanted. It's very sturdy and the handles will make it much easier to bring up and down my attic ladder. It also has a place to put a label on the outside and a pocket which could store additional accessories. I just need a few more of these and I will be set!

It's a great storage idea and the container itself is reasonably well made ... and it's large. However, the lid is just a flap that sits on the top ... it's not fitted and doesn't have sides. The lack of fitted lid is a bit of a disadvantage for using the container to store other things. The container is quite heavy when filled with shoes - even lighter weight summer shoes. (Size 7s for me). I wanted to tuck it into the back corner of my closet until I needed something but I have carpet on the floor of my closet and this container does not slide well on carpet because of its size and weight when full. It's quite the challenge (for me) to maneuver. Overall, it's a solid, useful box - if I can't find sliders to stick on the base I will likely repurpose.

Well made shoes organizer. I wear a size 12, so I'm a little limited on how many shoes I can fit in the organizer, depending on the shoe you're storing. But definitely does the job!

This 16-pair shoe organizer is what I needed to wrangle my shoes at the bottom of a small closet. It was easy to set up with the included instructions. It feels like fabric covered cardboard but I’m ok with that as long as it works. I wear a women’s 9.5 shoe and it took some wiggling to get 2 shoes into each cubby hole. With boots you’re only going to get 1 boot into each hole. I don’t see this working for sneakers or running shoes. I could barely get a pair of slip on tennis shoes into a cubby. However, they fit and are now organized. The top would not fit because the box was expanded too much to accommodate my shoes (14 pair and then 1 boot in each of the other cubbies). Overall, this will work great for my needs.

Not only do I now no longer have a sea of shoes strewn across the floor of my closet, but I don't have to go digging to find the other half of a pair anymore either! This organizer is a great idea, and I should have invested in one years ago. Now almost the only "loose" shoes in my closet are my boots, which can be tucked off to the side, while the rest of them are fitted nicely into their designated slot(s).The organizer strikes a nice balance between lightness and sturdiness: it's not exactly *light* but it isn't so heavy as to be cumbersome, either, yet without being flimsy. Any lighter and it would probably be too thin to be any good; any sturdier, and it would probably be too heavy to be easily manhandled at need. It finds a nice compromise between those two warring needs.It was easy to put together, too, and the relative thin/flimsiness of the interior slats actually ends up being a positive in this case, because you can adjust them to suit different sizes of shoes to the point where only my big, cumbersome sneakers required individual pockets: all the other shoes could fit into one together as a pair, albeit some with more ease than others.I like that the lid only attaches with velcro, too, so if I need to pull it all the way off (or want to get into it from the back instead of the front) I can. I think I would prefer the outer sides being just a smidgen sturdier, or maybe just having some velcro flaps on the sides of the lid as well to keep the sides from sagging open a hair (as a result of the number of shoes I have crammed inside, no doubt) but again, for finding a balance between sturdiness and lightness, it does very well. All-in-all, an incredibly handy contraption, which suits its $25 price tag very well. I'm thrilled to have it in my closet.
