Easy to use! I have a bad back and am overweight. Even slip on tennis shoes are a pain. This thing grabs onto the back of the heel part and my foot just SLIDES in! And the telescoping handle is the best. It fit in my suitcase no problem.

Very easy to use . The long handle is very useful as you don’t need to bend to put your shoes on . All in all I will recommend it .

I have to wear an ankle brace, which means it is more than a small hassle to put on my right shoe, even though it is stretched to accommodate the brace. A regular shoehorn would not work very well; the body of it was too small to fit over the plastic heel of the brace. It would slide all around, not help very much and cause the top edge of the heel of the upper shoe to roll under, making it necessary to start all over again. I knew what was wrong, so I was preparing to make a shoehorn out of an empty detergent bottle when my wife urged me to reword my search key and try again. Then on trusty Amazon I found exactly what I needed! It is called a "YEADMAL Shoe-Horn, Long-Handle Shoehorn Funnel". This is not the best name for it since it prevented me from finding it earlier. The shoehorn fits over the back part of the shoe so there is no rolling of the leather, and it fits around the heel of my brace, allowing my foot to slip into the shoe easily.Their video and photos show that people could put on their shoes while standing up. Well, standing on one foot and twisting the body to see the action is not the best position for many seniors. I cannot provide a video, but with a little practice one can learn how to use this shoe funnel while seated.I have used it almost daily for over 2 months, and even if it broke tomorrow, I would still recommend this device. But I do not expect it to break; it is sturdy and well-designed, so if one is only moderately careful, it will last a long time. The price of $16.25 is high for a shoehorn, but not for this shoe-funnel!

I have quite a few shoes that have soft backs and when they flatten it makes it difficult to pull the back up straight whilst you’re trying to slip your foot in. This shoe horn goes over the back completely and makes it so simple to slip your foot in, the best thing I have bought in a long time.

I got this mainly for my mother who is in her mid 90s and struggles to get down and put her shoes on, even slip on ones, because the backs of the shoes always fold over when she puts her feet in the shoes. She uses a long handled shoe horn to help, but that isn't ideal because it is really too narrow to solve the problem.I was a bit sceptical about whether this would work, but I thought I would give it a go. And I am pleasantly surprised at how effective it is.The fact that it is telescopic means that she can use it extended to its full length when standing, and if the shoe falls over she can flip it over. The bottom piece is wide enough to go over the whole of the back of the shoe and holds it in place while she slips her foot in, and then it pulls back out very easily. If she is sitting down at the time, she just extends the pole a bit to suit her. The only slight niggle is that the pole doesn't lock in place, so sometimes when it is fully extended it collapses down a bit when you are pushing your foot into the shoe, but that is a minor thing.Once it has been used, we just shorten it and hang it up with our coats in the hall so it is ready for the next time.I actually am borrowing this myself on wet days. I have a pair of ankle length wellies at the back door which I use on wet days when I go out to feed the birds. With bird seed in my hands I can never get my wellies on as they tend to fold up to narrow slits at the back, so now I can have bird seed in one hand and this little shoe horn in the other, and I can easily get my wellies on without having to put down the bird seed (or drop it all over the floor, which has often happened in the past!).A great little device for everyone with mobility issues. It comes in a nice sturdy box too, so would be ideal for gifting.
