A basic tool that makes it easy for me to put on my shoes when I’m feeling stiff in the morning. At 77, I probably have a good 20 years to go so this shoehorn should last until I die. It’s sturdy, good looking and has a rawhide loop for hanging. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought a couple pair of hiking shoes (which I wear to work daily) that have a sewn-in/integrated Goretex lining that is pretty snug, even with the laces untied and loosened. They have very sturdy pull loops on the tongue and rear cuff but I have ripped those off on other shoes and did not want that to occur with these as I had to be somewhat aggressive to get them on. This shoe horn transformed those shoes into slip-ons. I don’t even have to bother with untied the laces. I’d estimate that this is now allowing me to enjoy at least another 60 seconds of snooze time after the alarm goes off at 6:00am.The edges are smooth and won’t damage my shoes or socks. The length gives me good leverage but isn’t cumbersome. The leather hang loop is a nice feature. I’m very pleased with this purchase and am confident you will be too.
