Shoes often wear from the inside out and holes can form from parts of the foot rubbing repeatedly on the inside of the shoe. Shoe Armour’s patented technology helps prevent these types of holes and helps shoes last longer. They are made from ballistic fabric which was originally developed for military body armor. Ballistic fabric has superior abrasion and tear resistance making it an ideal material for preventing holes. Shoe Armour works best when used on new shoes but can be used at anytime in your shoes life to prevent holes or protect them from getting worse.

I use their other products and have had a great experience so when I ordered these I thought it would be a good product. WRONG. It is completely impossible to get them installed correctly. I followed the directions to a T and struggled with them for an hour. When you finally get them in good position you’re supposed to pull the tab to remove the backing from the sticky part and it folded in half onto itself. When I finally got them in the correct position without then folding onto eachother they were no longer sticky. I reached out to the seller for help and they did not reply. So I reach out for a refund and they denied it. You have been warned. Don’t waste your money.

I have purchased 2 of these and let me say they are great. I could wear thru a shoe lining in less than 30 days which made it expensive for me. When I put this into my shoe the problem was solved! No more holes! Wish I had found this earlier. Will always keep a spare set around. This has saved my toes and my pocketbook. Thank you for a wonderful product.Update: After wearing inside of shoe it seems that the sticky pad that holds the material to the inside of the shoe separates. Don't understand why product would separate from itself. Keep in mind product does work when it's all in one piece but doubt this would be a long term solution.

I have a problem with the big toe on my left foot making a hole in the top of my best athletic shoes or any canvas/fabric top shoe I wear. I know they show and explain that this total insert should be used but I have found it much better to cut sections from the total insert that is big enough to cover and reinforce just the area I need.By cutting the material to exactly what I need the pair of inserts will easily last through many pairs of shoes since the soles and insole resilience will be gone long before the tops wear out. Just remember if you decide to cut the insert material to the shape you need, the white peel-off side will be what covers the area that experiences the wear. After I stick the patch to the shoe's interior mesh, I vigorously rub back and forth on it for several seconds to build up some friction heat to make sure the adhesive sets firmly. I don't like or recommend using the patch material as advertised since it can restrict the ventilation of the mesh top.

Like many of the reviews have already stated, these are a PITA to install correctly. The instructions are relatively clear but the actual process of getting them into your shoes is another thing. Here's what somewhat worked for me after I somewhat messed up the first shoe. Before you do anything take the laces out of your shoes. First, if you don't need the side protection cut it off (I only wanted the toe protection). Second, apply the Bottom part that goes UNDER your insole. Here's where it's now tricky... Peel just a bit of the upper toe protection liner off just enough so that you'll be able to reach in and pull it off after you get the insole in all the way. To get the insole in, try to fold it LENGTHWISE to slide it all the way in. Once in, make sure the ShoeArmour is fully seated into the toebox with no kinks. Now, ever so carefully grab the liner paper with two fingers (I used index and middle finger) and pull the liner paper out. Now smooth out the toebox protection and make sure the liner is fully adhered. Again, it's a PITA. I sent TWO emails to the company and have had zero reply.

When I walk, my big toe sticks up and it eventually wears holes in the top of my fabric shoes. I just bought some National Geographic canvas Vans slip ONS, and I wanted them to last as long as possible. This product is EXACTLY what I needed and no other company sells anything like it. Litterly a shoe saver, my vans would have already had holes in them by now if it weren't for this amazing product!!!Just be aware that depending on the style of shoe you have, it may be difficult to apply the product. I have size 5 canvas slip on Vans (you can't pull the lip of the shoe up like you can with sneakers) so applying the sticker was difficult. This is not because the product is bad, it's because I have small feel.Detailed instructions of how to apply the product to shoes is included and very helpful! To the company: Thank you so much for making the perfect product, I will definitely be buying another when I buy new shoes!!!

Wish I had found these years ago. I wanted to wait a few months after I used them to give an honest review. While I was unable to use the product exactly as intended, I can't say enough about it. I originally put it in my shoe per the directions - I am a person that likes my toes touching the end of my shoes - It was uncomfortable with my toe rubbing against it. I immediately pulled it back out and cut the piece off that would normally go where your toes rub to try and just use that piece - not only did it work, but I managed to cut another one from the piece that attached under my foot for my other shoe - much to my surprise, not only did they stick, but they have been stuck for 3 months and prevented holes. I was able to use the other foot for another pair of shoes!!!

So far, this material seems to be quite useful in preventing toe-wear in the tops of my shoes. The adhesive is really effective in keeping the patch in place, and the material is thin and its texture isn't noticeable inside the shoe.I agree with some others that the adhesive on the base of the insert is on the wrong side -- as it is created, you are permanently sticking your insole into your shoe, and would need to tear out the hole/side protection material if you ever needed to remove or replace the insole. If the adhesive was on the other side, then it would adhere to the bottom of the shoe and leave the insole removable. This didn't affect me much, since I only needed the actual toe area to be protected. I cut the toe protection patch away from the rest of the material and only used the toe patch. I used the extra unused material to cut a couple of extra pairs of toe patches to be used in other shoes.
