I bought these for my husband and one of his umpire buddies. The idea was for each of them to use the small bag for their field shoes and the big bag for their plate shoes. Well, the big bag is only big enough for my husband’s field shoes, same for his friend. He wears an 11.5 and his friend wears a 10.5. I gave 3 stars because they are otherwise as described, aside from the size aspect. Also, the price was such, that even only using 2 of the bags, it was worth keeping.

The quality of this 4-Pack Shoe Bag SET for Travel is CHEAPLY MADE and more on the order of DISPOSABLE!Yes, the bags are ample-sized, but I would not trust them to be waterproof!I will use them to keep my shoe dust and smell away from my clothes, but these bags are not well made, in my opinion, nor durable... especially the zippers!NOT RECOMMENDED!

I ordered these shoe bags to use when I travel. I'm always putting my shoes in plastic shopping bags for packing in my suitcase to protect my clothing from any dirt or stain from my shoes. These shoe bags looked like a much better solution to the shoe storage in my suitcase. Also, they're helpful as they are reusable and don't result in plastic bags being thrown away after each trip.The bags are made of a thin black material. In spite of the lightweight material, it feels sturdy. I haven't tried wetting the bags, but I feel they will work well if I have muddy or wet shoes that I need to pack in my bags. By the feel of the fabric, the bags are water resistant, possibly waterproof.The seams are a simple single stitch without any reinforcement.The sides of the bags have large gussets that allow the shoe bags to open to a generous size. For many shoe sizes, the bags will fit 2-3 pair of shoes.The zippers open and close easily without getting stuck or jammed.The loop at the top of each bag is a single non-reinforced fabric strip. No side seams or any type of reinforcement. One side of the loop has a soft, very minimal velvety surface. The other side has a very light coating of silicone or rubber type material. The top loop straps feel rather flimsy and I don't trust them to stay in tact after some use. I feel that the manufacturer should have used a more solid material which is reinforced to insure sturdiness for anyone that will use these loop straps to hang their shoes.The quality of these shoe bags are on the higher end of average. For my purposes, using the bags for travel, I feel they will work well. They are an improvement over the plastic bags. I won't be using the top loops for hanging the bags, as I don't feel they are sturdy enough.The $5.99 price for this set of shoe bags makes them a good value.All in all, the bags are good for packing shoes in luggage and shoe storage. They will get the job done.
