This shipping container door lock is incredibly sturdy and provides excellent security. The heavy-duty steel construction feels solid, and it fits perfectly on standard container doors. Installation was quick and easy, and once locked, it gives peace of mind that everything inside is well-protected.Great for added security on storage containers, trailers, or job sites. If you need a tough, reliable lock, this is a great choice. Highly recommended!

My Locksmith cannot find extra key "blanks" anywhere. this is a very odd product made in China that must have got a screaming deal on keys / locks that are not standard issue throughout the world. Sucks because several people need to have access keys to this.

An absolute nightmare to open or close. And then the key broke off in the lock because it’s incredibly hard to turn and pull at the same time. The keys are made of super cheap soft metal. Aluminum alloy of some kind. I do not recommend.

This is well-constructed except for the lock. The lock is built-in and can't be changed. And it's cheap: it has a very simply keyway and doesn't look pick-resistant at all. So, this will be fine to keep out the casual thief, but not one who can pick locks.I have another similar unit that contains a combination padlock that it fully shields against various forms of abuse, but it can be removed and replaced with one of similar size. So it was a surprise to me that this unit doesn't allow that.If you want to learn what locks are good and what aren't worthwhile, watch the "Lockpicking Lawyer" videos on YouTube. He opens the locks from the hardware store in seconds. It turns out that most retail locks sold in the US aren't that good and some are downright terrible. I bought a brand that he couldn't open.

This container lock is really nice and heavy duty. We lost a lot during Hurricane Helene, but were extremely lucky that we didn't lose our container. Now it's holding almost everything we were able to salvage and we need a lock we can trust. This seems like a much better alternative to the normal padlock we had before. But we also didn't have as many valuables in it before either. But until we can get our shop secure this is the best we can do and am super happy with this order.

Unfortunately our container expectation fell through and we have yet to get the experience of use from this product that we wanted to. However if I am just going to judge this based on the quality in hand, I don't think you could possibly get a more solid piece of equipment when it comes to a locking system. This is one heavy sucker! The welds are done exceptionally well and I can't foresee any type of problem in using this particular style or brand as every bit of it stands out to me as being a super high quality piece with a great integral system for locking. The benefit I believe is the ability to have some sizing differences which makes it a more flexible product with a wider variety of scope to use versus some of the more limiting competitors that don't have the option of alternative sizing. I don't think it's possible to go wrong on this one. when you're paying this price point for a lock that should be the result anyway. It's appearing to be a fantastic item and I don't think you could get past this as a criminal, because to damage it and make it open without the key.. good luck on that one I don't think it's possible unless you have a on-site bit of plasma cutter materials to take it out that way! I think anything behind this lock is going to be secure for a lifetime!
