The SHINESTAR 15-Inch RV Propane Hose with Gauge, Camper Tank Hose for Dual Stage Regulator, 1/4 Inch Male NPT x QCC1 Stainless Steel Braided Hose Replacement, 2-pack presents as a quality and a very good looking product. However, I made the mistake of not paying attending to the fittings. I needed to match the existing 1/4” Male Inverted Flare. However, easily managed with a quick and simple modification with the use the proper adapter.As described the braided steel propane hose with monitoring gauge performs extremely well. It was quick and easy to install. Armed with a soap and water solution and a gas leak detector the fitting went perfect. (i take no chances, I didn’t want to find out the hard way, if II had a problem). I installed these propane hoses on the 5th wheel RV.Overall, great product. Durable and sturdy. Feel of quality material and build for long lasting performance and relatability. The gauges seem to work well (but full disclosure…it’s February and the temps area bit cooler).

Our camper has dual tanks and an automatic crossover from the empty one to the full one. But no way of knowing if you are getting close to running out. And it also does not let you know which tank is empty.I got these to replace the lines that are on the system so I can have some idea of the contents of each tank individually. And of course which tank needs to be refilled.Right now, both of my tanks are full. So they both read the same. But when we begin camping again this year, it will be an easy thing to monitor. Just take the time to look!These seem well made. I also like the braided steel hose protection. Not only protects from cuts but also from the sun.Install was easy. Just remember to use Teflon tape or some type of leak preventative on the threads.
