  • Measure each foot in cm. Use the larger foot for sizing. For wide feet, choose a wide model or go 1-2 sizes larger.

  • Cycling shoes prioritize stability and power efficiency. A proper fit is snug, supports the arch, and allows slight toe movement. Excessive heel slippage indicates sizing issues. Check seams, straps, and folds for comfort.

  • SHIMANO DYNALAST offers standard and wide lasts, catering to 90% of riders. The wide last suits those with broader feet, ensuring a better fit without requiring a size increase.

  • A cycling shoe’s sole is engineered to support your foot in a stable position and distribute pressure from the pedal with little flex while pedaling. Therefore, it does not flex like most footwear when you walk in them.

  • SHIMANO does not use any animal byproducts in the production of our cycling shoes.

These are far and away the most flexible cycling shoes I've owned. I found myself in serious pain about 20 miles into my first ride on them. These would be usable if your pedals have big platforms outside where the cleat engages. Some mountain pedals are built this way. However, on my Time ATAC pedals, these were exquisitely awful.

These were my first clipless shoes. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money because I wasn’t sure if I was going to stay with clipless. In experienced rider in general. Use it for my gravel bike. I’ve climbed hills off my bike, walked through streams several times and pedaled about 150 miles. The material is quite good, the flex is fine and I don’t notice any gaps or movement while riding. The grip is REALLY good on dirt uphill and down. This was really impressive and I haven’t slipped at all with these on dirt. One of the downsides, due to this bein budget minded model, is the BOA being in the middle along the “lace” section. So you cannot customize the tightness by your toes and on top of your foot. While this doesn’t feel like it affects my foot clipped in, I do plan to move to a dual adjust system on my next pair.Recommend sizing up 1 size if you have a normal to higher width foot. I usually wear 10.5, went with the size 46(11-11.5).Great shoes for getting started and will get it done for you and get miles in.

I tried this shoe in 45 which is my usual size but it was too small/short. Then I tried the 46 which fit, however the BOA system is placed poorly, too far forward, so when you tighten the strap it squeezes the toe box while leaving the part over the bridge of your foot loose… so there is no way to get a comfortable and secure fit.
