This is a beautiful piece that looks fantastic. I love the way the edges look although they are a bit sharp. Natural broken slate can be sharp also but I feel like this is almost jagged edged. I'd love it in my aquarium for my flirty cichlids but I'm wondering about the glue on the feet and if it's really a good idea for an aquarium. They're stuck on there quite well but obviously with glue of some sort. So, the jury's still out on which critter is going to end up with this, but I'm guess my uromastyx would appreciate it the most, and it's definitely a visual upgrade from manufactured ceramic tiles.

This slate basking rock is perfect for my bearded dragon! It measures about 6x12” which is exactly the size I needed for his elevated basking spot. The edges are rugged but not super scratchy, and the little padded feet on the bottom keep it from slipping around on the wood ledge. I recommend this!
