I am pleased with my purchase from Discount Diver's through Amazon. I would like to make one comment regarding the item and that is that the picture shows a flex hose connected to the regulator. It did not come with this hose and you will need to use your existing hose to complete this project. You must also understand that you will need to disassemble your old BCD hose and take care not to overlook hooking the release cable back up to your new device. I look forward to enjoying my new upgrade to my Sherwood BCD. It is always reassuring to know that Amazon stands behind everything that is sold on their site.

First dive today with it and free flow issues just like all the other reviewers talk about around the internet. YES I know how to adjust it and it still free flowed...pile of junk...

I formerly used a SCUBA Pro Air 2. The Gemini is a acceptable substitute and performs well. I much prefer an inflator regulator to an octopus if for no other reason than streamlining. I have a Sherwood Magnum primary and, although known for being extremely easy breathing, it will free flow unless the resistance is turned down. I was concerned there might be a similar issue with the Gemini but after more than a dozen dives, it hasn't free flowed once. I like the button arrangement which makes it extremely easy to distinguish the power and manual inflate.

If I could give it no stars I would. It is a pile of crap. It is a hard breather but the biggest problem, five dives in and it started free flowing. When I bought it from Sherwood I was told they fixed the free flow issue. Wrong, I know one other diver with the Gemini he has replaced it twice in the first year.
