Not quality enough for hiking back trails, but instead bought for young adult family members as a reminder to keep their lives on a moral compass pointing 'true north'

Bought as a gift for my great nerves and nephews. They loved them. Very sturdy and easy to use

Great gift idea for a group of girlfriends. Functional, affordable, but quality looks like they cost more than they do!

I bought the 6-pack. They arrived fast, and they look nice.. I gave one as a gift to a coworker who was quitting and it was more of a "I hope you find the direction you are looking for" sentimental (symbolic) gift . and i mailed 2 of them to my 10-year-old nieces as a gift so they can learn North, South, East, West (Never Eat Soggy Waffles). i opened up all 6 and put them on a FLAT surface. they did all eventually find North. and you can pop them out of the chrome container and adjust the paper dial so the arrow faces North, etcBut i would NOT use these if you need any serious navigation or to locate your position hiking.

I love these compasses. I run a summer camp and buy these every year for my new staff. The compasses work, and look great. I've only ever had one that didn't work, and it just pointed south instead of north, which was pretty amusing.

The compass has a nice feel to it, the lid works nicely, the needles are all pointing north, and they have a nice glow. When reading the compass, you need to hold it as level as possible and lightly tap it to coax the needle to settle correctly on North. I am using them as a giveaway, along with some other survival/camping items for a camping birthday party.

I am the mystery reader for My second grade grandson. Im reading the children’s picture book “Hay Grandude” by Sir Paul McCartney. A compass is the main instrument used in the story. There are 23 students in the class so I bought four sets of six each for $80. I inspected each one And they all looked good and performed as they should. Their gold and shiny case will fit well in the child’s palm. I am sure it will make a memorable gift. That being said, this item is not meant to with stand long-term harsh conditions and the elements of serious outdoor hiking
