It’s exactly what you think it is. Only thing I didn’t realize was that the t-handle fits in the loop very loosely. Almost hard to twist the spike in the ground when you can’t see it under water. It makes sense to be this way, it does work and makes it easy to store, I just “thought” it affixed to the spike tighter/better for turning in the spike, then would be able to be disconnected for storage. It’s exactly like the pics. This is not the products fault, it’s mine for not realizing. But I did want to share in case others have the same misunderstanding. Still 5 star.

I lost the crossbar piece the first time I used it because it isn’t connected and obviously doesn’t float. It doesn’t bite well either. Screwed it in well under water level and it pulled out repeatedly and just doesn’t work well at all.

This worked great to keep our boat on a beach overnight and on sandbars.

This sand anger seems to do a great job of holding my 24ft pontoon even in rough water

I’ve only used this once and it was at a sandbar on a very windy day. It held pretty well considering the wind. The bungee however is lacking. The rubber that’s braided which houses the actual bungee seems cheaper and is already beginning to unravel.
