At first I thought this was just a cute hello kitty puzzle cube. But, it’s way harder than it looks! Once we got it undone it took forever to figure out how to get it back into the classic cube shape! I gave up pretty quickly, my husband tried off and on and my 16yr old niece struggled with it as well. However, that’s what makes this so great!!!! We turned it into lots of different shapes and highly enjoyed the challenge of getting all the images lined up. It looks tiny but it’s lots of fun!!!!

This has captivated myself and my 5 year old for whom it was intended as a gift. This product follows in the footsteps of giants such as the Rubik's Cube and other fidget puzzles from the 80s and 90s on through today. It's vital to consult the brief instruction sheet prior to attempting to manipulate the puzzle box, so that you don't inadvertently damage the unit, and so you can know all the possibilities contained within the small form factor. The box works using a combination of magnets and jointed card stock of some sort. I have enjoyed manipulating the puzzle box in an effort to meet the challenge of creating some of the purported 70 shapes indicated on the sheet, though at present my child has managed to lose this somewhere in the house in under 24 hours. Before it went missing, it gave the impression of a well made item that has probably been popular overseas for a long while before I ever heard of it The "kawaii" Hello Kitty motif only adds to the intercontinental appeal, as well as piquing the interest of the young recipient. Hopefully we'll find it soon so we can keep playing with it.

It was recommended that I may get some benefit from a fidget spinner. The ones I found over the past few weeks looked like all the rest, not the most interesting and not something special. I figured it should be something I would like and enjoy. So I put off ordering one. That is until the minute I saw this one!ELATEDDDD when I saw this pop up! It is so cute. I love Sanrio. The scenes on the pieces are bright and cheery. I look forward to discovering the shapes and things it can do. It looks IDENTICAL in person to how it does online. So very pretty, bright and cheery!The shapes in my review photo are just shapes I made when playing with it. It is really such a cool and inventive evolution of a fidget spinner!When I opened it I immediately played with it for 10-15 minutes. It is just so cool, moves in so many directions but there is some form and shape and it doesn't fold certain ways. Which I loved the challenge of figuring out how it would fold and what shape it would make.While I have downloaded the app honestly I just want to play and see what shapes I can discover on my own. I really look forward to using it. It is a wonderful alternative to biting nails, picking at things or when you just need something to do but need to wind down. It is like getting the last of the energy out of my mind and hands to go to bed more peaceful and tranquil.I HIGHLY recommend this. I am an adult and absolutely LOVE this! Would go out of my way to recommend to family and friends and I may put on my holiday wishlist!Solo request to company that developed this: Pompompurin & Cinnamoroll ones too please!!!
